Silvestri developed through the Italian road scene with Eurotarget-Bianchi-Vittoria and Top Girls Fassa Bortolo before moving to Zaaf Cycling Team and then Laboral Kutxa-Fundación Euskadi. A punchy climber and stage-race rider, she finished 3rd overall at the 2021 Giro della Toscana Femminile, 4th overall at Setmana Ciclista Valenciana in 2021 and 5th overall at the 2023 Vuelta Ciclista Andalucia Ruta Del Sol.
