The third event in a series of Spanish races to re-open Équipe Paule Ka’s season is the 1.1 classified Durango-Durango Emakumeen Saria. With start and finish in the town of Durango in the Basque country, this year’s 114km-long course is a demanding one. It features five laps of a circuit to kick off the race, each loop requiring the peloton to crest the Miota Gaina. This is then followed by ascents at Goiuria and Garai, the latter appearing within the final 10km of racing, before the day comes to a conclusion in Durango. The race will suit riders with strong climbing legs.
