Career overview
Janse van Rensburg developed through South African racing before moving into the World Cycling Centre programme and then Stade Rochelais Charente-Maritime. She became South African national road race champion in 2022 and again in 2023, adding the national time-trial title in 2023 as part of a strong domestic run. Internationally, she raced major European events including the Tour de France Femmes, La Flèche Wallonne Femmes, Liège-Bastogne-Liège Femmes, Paris-Roubaix Femmes and the Tour de Suisse Women, gaining experience across the highest level of the women’s calendar. Janse van Rensburg retired after the 2023 season, closing a short but significant professional career for South African women’s cycling.
