Grant Thornton-Krush Bikes-Tunap Sports rides GP Oetingen

After a successful opening of the season, Grant Thornton-Krush Bikes-Tunap Sports will ride the first GP Oetingen on Sunday 14 March

The 120 kilometre long Belgian 1.2 race is made up of ten laps of twelve kilometres. The critical points are in the second part of the trail. Executives are a few cobblestone lanes and the ascent of Bergstraat. At the top of this 500-meter climb, it is another two kilometres to the finish in Oetingen.

Quinty Ton is looking forward to the first Belgian race of the cycling year. “We are at the start with a lot of riders. So it will be crowded and positioning will be very important . I expect that the door at the back of the peloton will be open. I hope that we can maintain the good feeling of the Healthy Aging Tour during the competition. ”

The GP Oetingen departs around 1.30 pm. The finish will take place between 4.30 pm and 5 pm. The GP Oetingen cannot be followed on television. Belgian Cycling does provide course information via its app. The hashtag #GPOetingen is also an option on Twitter to follow the competition.

In addition to Quinty Ton, Inez Beijer, Marissa Baks, Nathalie Eklund, Daniek Hengeveld, Melissa van Neck and Nienke Wasmus Grant will also represent Thornton-Krush Bikes-Tunap Sports. Wasmus and Beijer will make their first appearance in a UCI race this season.
