Korevaar: “The Trofeo Alfredo Binda lends itself to be a combative race”

Liv Racing can count on a fresh and eager team in the Trofeo Alfredo Binda. The squad will start the Italian UCI Women’s WorldTour classic next Sunday with Alison Jackson, Pauliena Rooijakkers, Jeanne Korevaar, Sofia Bertizzolo, Soraya Paladin and Marta Jaskulska.

“We are quite strong in terms of width with Liv Racing and are extremely motivated. Every one of us still has fresh memories of the first successful races of the season. Over the past two weeks, we have been putting the finishing touches during a team camp in Italy which was perfect, both in terms of training and atmosphere in the team”, says Jeanne Korevaar, who has grown into a safe bet within the team over the years.

“The course is identical to other years, in the second part we ride on a local lap with the necessary climbing. It lends itself to be a combative race. The great thing about the Trofeo Alfredo Binda is that the progress of the race often has various faces. It is unlike many other when you can precisely point out the decisive places. The altitude differences weigh heavily towards the end. Whoever has something left in the tank, has a good chance of success.”
