The organisers of La Vuelta Femenina by Carrefour.es have confirmed the teams set to compete in the 2025 edition of the Spanish Grand Tour, which is taking place from 4th to 10th May. A total of 21 teams have been selected, including 13 UCI Womenโs WorldTeams and eight wildcard invitations.

All but two Womenโs WorldTeams will take part in the 2025 edition, with Ceratizit Pro Cycling and Roland missing from the selection. The 13 participating teams are:

Wildcards awarded
Eight teams from the UCI ProTeams and Continental ranks have received wildcard invitations. VolkerWessels appear to have turned down the mandatory invitation to race this years Vuelta Femenina.

The full route details for La Vuelta Femenina 2025 will be revealed on 10th March in Barcelona, which will also host the official start of the race. The Catalan capital becomes the third Spanish city to launch the womenโs Grand Tour, following Torrevieja in 2023 and Valencia in 2024. Barcelona has become a key location for major cycling events, having hosted the opening stage of La Vuelta 2023 and set to welcome the Grand Dรฉpart of the Tour de France in 2026.
