Liv AlUla Jayco has unveiled its 2025 roster, signalling its intentions to build on the progress made during a transformative 2024 season. The Australian team, comprising 14 riders, has balanced experienced names with emerging talents as it aims to compete across Grand Tours, one-day Classics, and stage races.

The squad will prioritise the three major Grand Toursโ€”Vuelta Femenina, Giro dโ€™Italia, and Tour de France Femmes. Leading the climbing group is Spanish veteran Mavi Garcรญa, supported by young riders Silke Smulders and Ella Wyllie, both of whom impressed during their debut campaigns in 2024. New recruit Monica Trinca Colonel adds further strength following an outstanding breakthrough season.

Team Manager Gene Bates described Garcรญa as โ€œmotivatedโ€ for the new season and expressed enthusiasm about Colonel’s potential, noting her strong results despite limited experience in professional cycling.

Building momentum in the Classics

The team is also targeting improved results in one-day Classics and sprint finishes. Italian sprinter Letizia Paternoster gained valuable experience during the 2024 spring Classics and secured her first victory for the team later in the year. Ruby Roseman-Gannon rebounded from an early-season injury to deliver standout performances, including a WorldTour win at the Tour of Britain and a strong showing at the World Championships. Georgia Baker displayed her development as a sprinter, coming close to podium finishes in stage races such as the Vuelta Femenina.

Bates acknowledged the โ€œpromisingโ€ progression of Paternoster and Roseman-Gannon and pointed to Bakerโ€™s renewed focus on road racing as an exciting development heading into 2025.

The roster is rounded out by a reliable group of all-rounders. Jeanne Korevaar continues as a dependable road captain, while Swedish rider Caroline Andersson bolsters the climbing group. Flat and rolling terrain will be handled by Amber Pate, Quinty Ton, and Anna Trevisi. New additions Josie Talbot and Amber van der Hulst further strengthen the line-up.

Bates said the team is well-prepared for the season ahead and anticipates strong results to match the rosterโ€™s talent.
