Live: 2024 Ronde de Mouscron

Martina-Fidanza-2023-Ronde-De-Mouscron

This year’s Ronde de Mouscron looks set to be much much drier than last year’s wetfest. In horrible conditions, the riders were subjected to wind, rain and mud which made for brutal racing. Martina Fidanza managed to navigate all of the challenges to take the victory for her only win of the 2023 season. She’s back this year to defend her title. The course is largely urban-based in Mouscron, with 5 laps to be taken care of for around 123km of racing. There’s one cobbled section which isn’t much to look at and certainly not a Roubaix-esque sector but still turns out to be quite bumpy even if not rugged. There are no major climbs but just relentless undulation. Expect either a small group sprinting it out or maybe even a solo winner.
