Lotte Kopecky first addition for 2021

Important news: Lotte Kopecky will reinforce the team as of 1 January 2021. The Belgian top talent wants to develop further in the coming years towards the absolute world top. โ€œThis is the perfect step at an ideal time for me. I am now 25 and am developing quickly. I feel that there are still many opportunities for progress. My first WorldTour victory, a stage win in the Giro Rosa, is proof that I am on the right track. By transferring to a UCI Women’s WorldTour, I get new opportunities to further developโ€, says Lotte Kopecky.

โ€œThe choice for my new team was made fairly quickly. I can count on guidance from experienced people who have performed at the highest level in cycling in the past. I also get the freedom to work towards the Olympics. A trajectory is being mapped out so that I can be important to both the team and my country.โ€ Team owner Eric van den Boom: โ€œLotte Kopecky is a great reinforcement for our team. She is still young, is developing very quickly and can hold her own in various disciplines.

Also in this tumultuous, challenging season, she has shown progress with a stage win in the Giro Rosa and the Belgian championship title. Lotte Kopecky has everything to become the leading lady who puts Belgian women’s cycling even more firmly on the map.โ€ Photo credits: Cor Vos
