Career overview
Kessler has enjoyed a long professional career built around Classics, sprint finishes and team support. She won a stage of the BeNe Ladies Tour in 2016 and finished second at RideLondon Classique that year before taking victory at the SPAR Flanders Diamond Tour in 2017 and Erondegemse Pijl in 2018. She also finished fourth overall at the 2019 Tour of Chongming Island. After spells with Team BikeExchange-Jayco, Team Jayco AlUla and EF Education-Oatly, Kessler joined development-focused NEXETIS for 2026 as its road captain. She remained competitive in her own right, finishing third at the Gran Premio della Liberazione Donne behind teammate Jasmin Liechti and continuing to provide experienced leadership to the team’s younger riders.
