NXTG Racing to Dutch national championships

On Saturday Rozemarijn Ammerlaan, Charlotte Kool, Mylène de Zoete and Cathalijne Hoolwerf will take part in the national championships in Wijster, the Netherlands. The course is a 7,3km lap which must be done 17 times. The lap includes the infamous VAM-berg, well known from the Ronde van Drenthe. For our riders it will be the first race after the COVID-19 race break.

Charlotte Kool:

I just don’t know what to expect on Saturday. I haven’t done any real races and don’t know where I stand in the peloton. As a team we have worked hard in the past few weeks. We had the opportunity to prepare in France and at Watersley Sports & Talent Park. Naturally, I will give my all and we will see where I end up. I have no doubts the race will be very hard but that is something I like.

Sports director Kelvin Dekker takes the wheel again and looks forward to the race.

A national championship is always a highlight in the season. In this special year even more so. On the other hand we also have a lot of question marks looming above the day. How is our shape? How will the race go? How hard is the course. There is one thing we don’t have any question marks about and that is our motivation. We are ready!
