Career overview
Moonen entered UCI racing with Lotto Soudal Ladies in 2017, finishing 17th at the 7-Dorpenomloop van Aalburg during her first season with the team. She remained with Lotto through 2019 before joining Chevalmeire Cycling Team for 2020 and continued with the organisation into 2021. Moonen subsequently stepped away from regular professional road racing, making occasional appearances at club and gravel events. She returned to a more structured road programme with MtD Women’s Elite Cycling Team in 2026, finishing eighth in the Vlaams-Brabant provincial road championship and 19th at the Wageningse Muur.
