Sammie Stuart (Retired)

Sammie Stuart is a retired British professional cyclist who competed primarily on the road. A strong domestic one-day racer, she stepped into the UCI peloton relatively late in her career and became a regular presence in Britain’s National Road Series and Women’s WorldTour events.

Career overview

Stuart enjoyed a breakthrough domestic season in 2022, winning a round of the Tour Series in Sunderland and finishing third at the Lancaster Grand Prix. She also placed sixth in the British road race championship, one of the strongest results of her career, before joining CAMS-Basso during the season. Stuart completed the Women’s Tour and Giro della Toscana that year and continued with the team after it became DAS-Handsling for 2023 and DAS-Hutchinson-Brother UK in 2024. Her final seasons included further appearances in major British races and Women’s WorldTour competition.
