Career overview
Alonso took her first professional victory on a stage of the 2021 Setmana Ciclista Valenciana and finished tenth at Paris-Roubaix Femmes in 2022, the same season she was runner-up in the Spanish road race championship. Her strongest campaign came in 2024, when she won stages of the Tour de Normandie Féminin and Thüringen Ladies Tour before claiming her first Women’s WorldTour victory at the Tour of Guangxi. Alonso stepped away from racing during 2025 to have her first child and returned with Eneicat-Be Call in April 2026. She quickly regained competitive form, finishing third at the Gran Premio Ciudad de Eibar, third in the Spanish time-trial championship and fifth in the national road race. Those performances earned her a contract with Laboral Kutxa-Fundación Euskadi for 2027.
