Aileen Schweikart, Marina Garau Roca and Meike Uiterwijk Winkel join BePink for 2025

Meike Uiterwijk Winkel

BePink has announced the signing of three talented riders for the 2025 season: Germany’s Aileen Schweikart, Spain’s Marina Garau Roca, and the Netherlands’ Meike Uiterwijk Winkel. The trio brings a mix of climbing ability, versatility, and renewed momentum to the Women’s Continental squad as they aim to make their mark in the coming year.

Aileen Schweikart joins after spending the past two seasons with Laboral Kutxa-Fundacion Euskadi, where she balanced aggressive attacking roles with the ability to secure her own results. Her standout moment in 2024 came on 10th March when she claimed a stage win at the Vuelta Extremadura Féminas in the mountains. Schweikart also took 3rd on the third stage of the same race and finished 10th in the Volta Ciclista a Catalunya. Reflecting on her next move, Schweikart is reported to have said, “I’m excited to start this new chapter with BePink. I’ve developed so much over the last two seasons, and I’m ready to take on new challenges with this team.”

Marina Garau Roca arrives following a strong 2024 season on the Spanish domestic calendar. The 20-year-old secured 7th place at the Pionera Race and previously won the non-UCI Estella City Council Women’s Trophy. Known for her consistent performances in hilly and technical terrain, she adds depth to BePink’s roster.

Dutch rider Meike Uiterwijk Winkel completes the trio. A former junior national champion in 2017, where she triumphed over big names like Lorena Wiebes, Charlotte Kool, and Mischa Bredewold, Uiterwijk Winkel’s early promise stalled before she took a break from racing. However, her recent form signals a return to her potential. In 2024, she delivered a 5th place finish at the Antwerp Port Epic Ladies, a demanding race featuring road and gravel sections.

BePink’s new signings reflect a desire to combine experienced racers like Schweikart with younger talents such as Garau Roca and Uiterwijk Winkel. The team looks forward to integrating these riders into its plans for the 2025 season.
