Caroline Andersson will race for Team Hitec Products in 2021. The team is happy to announce the 19 years young Swedish rider as the fourth new signing for next season. Earlier Team Hitec Products signed Norwegian riders Martine Gjøs, Ann Helen Olsen and Anne Dorthe Ysland. Andersson raced at the world championships as a junior and competed in the U23 race at this year’s European championships.
“I am proud to join such a successful UCI team as team Hitec Products”, Andersson says about the new step in her career. “I value the spirit and culture in the team to be top professional. So when I was offered a possibility to join the team, there wasn’t much thinking needed.”
Andersson is based in Italy. “I have been racing a lot in Italy in the last years and I’m currently living in Tuscany, but I’m convinced that joining Team Hitec is be the best for me to develop myself. I hope to reach my dreams of becoming a world-class rider for the classics and championships. I am really looking forward to start working with the team management and getting to know my new teammates much better.”
