The fourth and final stage of the Volta Comunitat Valenciana Fèmines brought the riders to Valencia. The stage ended in a group sprint, with two riders of Liv Racing Xstra making it into the top-20 of the day.
With the top of the Alto de l`Ornet (cat. 3) at 30 kilometres from the finish, the peloton aimed at a group sprint today. Despite several breakaway attempts, the group sprint took place in the streets of Valencia. Martia Bastianelli took the stage win. Liv Racing Xstra had two riders finishing in the top-20. Marta Jaskulska finished 13th, Silke Smulders crossed the line in 18th place.
“We had a good final stage. Silke and Marta were always in front of the first group. I asked Silke to help Marta with the final sprint and that worked out well. I am really proud of how we finished this stage race. We showed improvement every day by riding together. It`s nice to finish it with a good result of Marta with help of the team”, Giorgia Bronzini told after the stage.
