Valentina Basilico
Valentina Basilico is an Italian cyclist who races for Born to Win BTC City Ljubljana. A versatile rider with a strong sprint and useful stage-racing ability, she enjoyed her breakthrough international season in 2024 with victories across Central and South America. Basilico won the Grand Prix El Salvador and the Vuelta Internacional Femenina a Guatemala overall, while also taking stages in El Salvador, Colombia and Guatemala.

Career overview
Basilico stepped up to UCI level with BePink in 2022 and immediately showed her finishing speed by winning two stages of the Vuelta a Formosa Femenina and finishing second at La Choralis Fourmies Féminine. She added third at La Picto-Charentaise and seventh at Kreiz Breizh Elites Féminin in 2023 before joining Eneicat-CMTeam. Her breakthrough came in 2024, when she won the Grand Prix El Salvador, a Tour El Salvador stage, a Vuelta a Colombia Femenina stage and the Vuelta Internacional Femenina a Guatemala overall. After another season with Eneicat in 2025, Basilico joined Born to Win BTC City Ljubljana for 2026, finishing fifth at Poreč Classic Ladies and ninth at Umag Classic Ladies.
