Who taught you how to ride a bike & how old were you?

I was very little, around 3 years old when my dad taught me how to ride without help. Before then I was on a small bike with 3 wheels. So ever since I have been on a bike, but as I come from a cycling family (my grandpa was already a cyclist, also my dad) there is nothing to wonder about.

What was your first ‘proper’ road bike & what colour was it?

First proper road bike I got that was totally new for me was a Cannondale Super 6, black and white.

What’s the most important piece of kit/advice that has helped boost your performance?

My brother, who was also a cyclist, said to me when I started to ride with “big girls” that at first, no matter what happens at the end, I need to be first in the race for just one moment. Step by step 🙂

What’s your favourite routes/places to ride?

I love to ride on the Croatian coast with beautiful views over the Adriatic Sea, there is also some easier climbing ????

What tips do you have to keep the love of cycling going amidst all the training?

Of course, when you see improvements and your PBs it keeps you motivated at first and then good for races.

What experiences are still to do on your cycling ‘bucket list’?

My big goal was to go to the Olympics. This will probably end up as just a dream now. So I am excited that in the new calendar there is now a Paris-Roubaix, and with that race, I think I will fulfil my bucket list ????
