The 2024 Giro d’Italia route was announced today, with RCS confirming the route of the race they’re organising for the first time. After many years where previous organisers have largely been criticised for being slow to adjust to the fast changes in women’s cycling, it is expected that RCS, who host the men’s Giro d’Italia, will bring the race up to the expected standard of a Women’s WorldTour race in 2024.
