We’re a day late, but we’re catching up with some of our pros and asking them for their ‘top tips’ for the current isolation period. Each week will have a different topic and this week Jessica a Roberts has us keeping on top of things with her five maintenance tips for isolation.
1. Yoga and stretching
Keep your body happy and healthy every day. Doing some mobility/stretching every morning sets you up for the day perfectly, physically and mentally. I’ve been using yogability videos on YouTube which are great and there are alot of gyms and online programs providing classes and session ideas for free during this period which is great.
2. Fresh Air
If you’re able, find some things to that get you outside, even it it is remaining in your own propertty. For example, to get yourself some fresh air, give your car some TLC and clean it inside and out. It keeps you busy, looks after your car and makes sure you’re spending some time in the fresh air.
3. Look after ‘you’
While also giving your car some TLC, give yourself some TLC! Make your own salon; you can do face masks, cut and paint your nails, dye your eyelashes. You could make it a pamper night with whoever you’re with during this isolation period in the house.
4. Find an outside project
Get out in the garden and give yourself a little project. You could brighten up your garden by planting some flowers, or even start to grow your own fruit or vegetables.
5. Be self-efficient
There’s no hairdressers open at the moment, and my boyfriend needed a haircut so for a bit of a laugh I had a go at cutting his hair for the first time!
