Joscelin Lowden (Retired)
Joss Lowden is a retired British cyclist and former Hour Record holder who developed into one of Britain’s strongest time-trial and stage-racing riders. A relatively late arrival to elite cycling, Lowden progressed rapidly through the domestic scene before competing professionally with Drops and Uno-X Mobility. Her career highlights included the British national time-trial title, overall victory at the Tour de Feminin and representing Great Britain at the World Championships and Commonwealth Games.

Career overview
Lowden entered elite cycling relatively late but developed quickly into an accomplished time-trialist and stage racer. Her breakthrough season came in 2021, when she won a stage and the overall classification at the Tour de Feminin, finished tenth overall at The Women’s Tour and placed eighth in the World Championship time-trial. Later that year she set a new women’s Hour Record, covering 48.405 kilometres before the mark was surpassed in 2022. Lowden became British national time-trial champion in 2022 after joining Uno-X and later returned to professional racing following the birth of her son in 2023. She completed her final professional road season with Uno-X Mobility in 2024, retiring after Tre Valli Varesine.
