Letizia Paternoster
Letizia Paternoster is an Italian professional cyclist who races for Liv AlUla Jayco. A fast and versatile rider with an elite track background, she combines sprinting speed with the ability to survive selective one-day races and short climbs. Paternoster has won world and European titles on the track while also building an increasingly consistent road career, with victories at the Tour Down Under and Festival Elsy Jacobs alongside podium finishes at Gent-Wevelgem, Dwars door Vlaanderen and major stage races.

Career overview
Paternoster emerged as an exceptional junior on the track before transferring that speed to the road, winning the Festival Elsy Jacobs overall and Gran Premio della Liberazione in 2018. She joined Trek-Segafredo in 2019 and won a stage of the Tour Down Under before becoming world champion in the elimination race in 2021. Paternoster moved to Team Jayco AlUla in 2023 and returned to her best road form, finishing third at Dwars door Vlaanderen and fourth overall at RideLondon Classique in 2024. She wore the leader’s jersey at La Vuelta Femenina in 2025 and continued strongly in 2026, finishing fourth at Amstel Gold Race and recording repeated top finishes at La Vuelta Femenina.
