After the second place and the great performance of the Spanish Mavi Garcia at the Strade Bianche, the Alé BTC Ljubljana come back in the race tomorrow, again on the Italian roads, for the Giro dell’Emilia Internazionale Donne Elite.
The race is scheduled in Bologna, starting at 12 pm, it’s 87.2 km long, almost all completely flat and then in the final the last 2.1 km of the San Luca climb will be decisive.
The team directed by Fortunato Lacquaniti and Gorazd Penko will line up the following riders: Marta Bastianelli, Tatiana Guderzo, Urska Pintar, Urska Zigart, Eugenia Bujak and Anna Trevisi.
Sports director Fortunato Lacquaniti comments: “It’s a bit of a special race where everything will be played out on the final climb. We will try to bring our two strongest riders, Pintar and Guderzo, to the top positions of the group at the foot of the climb and they will try to do something good. The general condition of the team is good and this race is another step of preparation towards La Course and the Giro Rosa which will be our most important goals of the season”.
