Career overview
Vas is one of Hungary’s most versatile modern riders, competing at the highest level across road, cyclocross and mountain bike. She finished 4th in the mountain bike cross-country race at the Tokyo Olympic Games, then continued to develop as a cyclocross contender with World Cup wins and repeated Hungarian national titles. On the road, she became a regular winner of the Hungarian road race and time-trial championships, won a stage of the 2023 Giro d’Italia Women and took stage 5 of the 2024 Tour de France Femmes. Vas has raced with SD Worx-Protime since mid-2021, but will leave the team early in October 2026 to join Lidl-Trek on a contract running through the end of 2028. The move keeps her multi-discipline programme intact while giving Lidl-Trek another rider capable of winning across punchy road races, sprints from reduced groups and cyclocross.
