Career overview
Becker built a long career across road and track, combining sprint speed, time-trial strength and international endurance experience. She won the Holland Ladies Tour overall in 2008, the German national road race title in 2010 and the Tour of Zhoushan Island overall in 2014, while also taking stage wins in races such as the Thüringen Rundfahrt, Trophée d’Or Féminin and Giro della Toscana. On the track, she was European under-23 points race champion and part of Germany’s team pursuit set-up. Becker also won the 2012 world team time-trial title with Specialized-lululemon and represented Germany at the Olympic Games before retiring after the 2022 season.
