Career overview
Longo Borghini is one of Italy’s most successful modern riders, with major results across Classics, stage races and championships. She won Olympic road race bronze in 2016 and 2021, the Giro d’Italia Women overall in 2024, and has twice won the Tour of Flanders. Her Classics record also includes victories at Strade Bianche, Paris-Roubaix Femmes, Trofeo Alfredo Binda and the Women’s Tour. A repeated Italian national champion in both the road race and time-trial, Longo Borghini joined UAE Team ADQ in 2025 after a long spell with Trek-Segafredo and Lidl-Trek, continuing as a leading GC and one-day contender.
