Sheyla Gutiérrez is a Spanish professional cyclist who rides for Movistar Team. A versatile one-day racer with a strong sprint and time-trial ability, she has won Spanish national titles, a Giro d’Italia Women stage and several international one-day races during a career that has kept her at the top level for more than a decade.

Career overview

Gutiérrez turned professional with Lointek in 2013 before joining Cylance Pro Cycling and later Movistar in 2019. Her breakthrough season came in 2017, when she won Le Samyn des Dames, became Spanish road race champion and took a stage of the Giro d’Italia Women. She added the Spanish time-trial title in 2019 and won La Périgord Ladies in 2020. Gutiérrez has also claimed overall victories at the Panorama Guizhou International Women’s Road Cycling and Tour of Zhoushan Island, two stages of the 2022 Tour Cycliste Féminin International de l’Ardèche and La Picto-Charentaise in 2024.
