Italian cyclist Eleonora Gasparrini has decided to extend her contract with UAE Team ADQ for the 2025-2026 seasons, continuing to race in their colours. The 22-year-old from Turin, who has already clinched two victories this year, shared her reasons for staying with the team.
“At UAE Team ADQ, I was always surrounded by a positive environment but also had enough challenge to help me grow. It was my natural desire to stay with this team. Signing for another two years gives me the peace of mind I needed,” Gasparrini explained.
Gasparrini’s achievements this season include wins at the Trofeo Binissalem-Andratx in Mallorca and La Classique Morbihan. Additionally, she finished the RideLondon Classique in the White Jersey for the best young rider for the second consecutive year.
Reflecting on her time with the team, Gasparrini stated, “In the last two seasons with UAE Team ADQ, I’ve gained a lot of experience. I think I have shown that I can work for my teammates, but I’ve also earned my space and taken my opportunities, which certainly in a great team like ours is not a given. The team has allowed me to grow at a steady pace, and we are well looked after. This last aspect was also one of the reasons that left me with no doubts when thinking about renewing my contract. I think that our team is in full development and that from now on it can only improve, I am happy to still be part of it.”
Melissa Moncada, President of UAE Team ADQ, expressed her delight at Gasparrini’s decision to stay. “We are thrilled to have Eleonora Gasparrini continue with UAE Team ADQ for the next two seasons. Eleonora’s talent and dedication are exceptional. RideLondon Classique showed us the best of Eleonora, and I really look forward to seeing her achieve even greater success with us in the upcoming seasons,” Moncada said.
