Grant Thornton-Krush Bikes-Tunap Sports opens season on Healthy Ageing Tour

An international group travels to the north of the Netherlands for the first race of Grant Thornton-Krush Bikes-Tunap Sports in 202: the Healthy Ageing Tour!

For the experienced Czech Melissa van Neck, it will be her first race in our brand new outfit. Clara Lundmark, Daniek Hengeveld and Nathalie Eklund will make their first kilometers during the race as members of a UCI-team. The selection is completed by Marissa Baks and Quinty Ton, who are entering their third year with the team.

The Healthy Ageing Tour opens with a flat stage on the TT Circuit of Assen. This is followed by an individual time trial on the coast at Lauwersoog. The three-day event ends with a difficult stage on and around the VAM-Berg.

“It will be our first race in our new kit from Biemme and I am really looking forward to racing in it”, says Marissa Baks. “At the Healthy Ageing Tour you know it’s going to be tough. The plan is to show us and see what is possible day by day. In any case, it is fantastic that this beautiful competition can also be organised in these difficult times!”

The Healthy Ageing Tour can be seen live daily via the Eurosport Player, GCN+, Podium TV and Dagblad van het Noorden. The last hour of the match is also postponed every day on Eurosport, after the live broadcast of Tirreno-Adriatico.
