Team TIBCO-Silicon Valley Bank is set to start the seventh edition of the Ladies Tour of Norway, from August 12th to 15th, with a diverse roster and plenty of opportunities to leave an impression during the four-day event around Østfold, Norway.
“I’m looking forward to our upcoming participation in the Ladies Tour of Norway. It has always been an exciting race,” team director Rachel Hedderman said. “The addition of a stage that finishes with a long climb to the Norefjell Ski Station adds another dimension. With our team of Kristen Faulkner, Tanja Erath, Nina Kessler, Diana Peñuela, and Eri Yonamine, fresh from a fantastic race at the Tokyo Olympics, we have a great all-around squad and looking forward to some aggressive racing.”
“There is a good mix of racing with some technical stages, some sprint stages, and stage 3, which finishes on a large climb,” Faulkner said. “The variety of terrain presents opportunities for different riders on our team to showcase their talents on different days. I really hope we can come back with at least one stage win from the event.”
