Letizia Borghesi

Letizia Borghesi is an Italian professional cyclist who races for AG Insurance-Soudal Team. A powerful Classics rider with particular strength on cobbles and rolling terrain, she has developed into one of Italy’s most consistent one-day racers. Borghesi won a stage of the Giro d’Italia Women early in her career before producing a major breakthrough at Paris-Roubaix Femmes in 2025, where she finished second. She has since added further strong WorldTour results across the Classics and shorter stage races.

Career overview

Borghesi turned professional in 2017 and claimed her first major victory with a stage of the Giro d’Italia Women in 2019. After three seasons with EF Education-TIBCO-SVB, she remained with the organisation through its transition to EF-Oatly-Cannondale and EF Education-Oatly. Her breakthrough Classics campaign came in 2025, when she finished second at Paris-Roubaix Femmes and sixth at the Tour of Flanders.
