After yesterday’s queen stage, Niewiadoma managed to claw some time back on Reusser with a GC gap of just 8 seconds. It’s going to be tough to overturn that today with only the L’Oronet climb as a possible attack point with 31km to go to the line. Labous and Realini aren’t too far behind either but it would require a coalition to beat SD Worx who have 2 riders on the GC podium as it stands. This probably all means we’re going to get a sprint in which Elisa Balsamo and a resurgent Marianne Vos will be the big favourites.
