Who taught you to ride and bike & how old were you?

I have a brother who is 2 years older than me. He learned how to ride a bike and his little bike stood at the back of our house. I saw it and I wanted to be able to bike myself (although I was only 3 years old), My mom was cooking in the kitchen and saw me practice on the bike on our terrace and after some time and some crashes, I just could do it haha.

What was your first proper road bike & what colour was it?

My first bike was the old bike of my brother because it became too small for him. It was a black Orbea.

What’s your favourite routes/places to ride?

Everywhere there are hills and good weather is also a bonus.

What’s the most important piece of kit/advice that has helped boost your performance?

I think my Garmin…

What tips do you have to keep the love of cycling going amidst all the training?

I think it is nice to take your bikes with you on vacation and you can ride in a whole different country (with good weather) and beautiful unknown views. Then everyone likes to ride a bike I think.

What experiences are still to do on your cycling ‘bucket list’?

I just enjoy every ride and we will see where it takes me.
