Team Hitec Products – Birk Sports are happy to announce the contract renewal of its three most experienced Norwegian riders. Norwegian road race champion Ingrid Lorvik, Norwegian time trial champion Vita Heine and Julie Meyer Solvang. Earlier Team Hitec Products – Birk Sport already renewed the contracts of Norwegian talents Pernille Feldmann, Ingvild Gaskjenn, Amalie Lutro and Thale Kielland Bjerk, British rider Lucy van der Haar and Marta Tagliaferro from Italy. The 18 years young Norwegian talent Silje Mathisen will be new in the team in 2020.
“However the season isn’t finished yet, the 2019 season has been very successful for our team”, says Karl Lima, team manager at Team Hitec Products – Birk Sport. “Very important in that was that we really have been a team. That is why we hoped to re-sign a lot of our riders and that worked out well. We want to build further with this group and I have good faith, that together we can achieve big things with this group and develop our young riders. With that in mind and as a great start, we are also looking to make this team even stronger.”

“I am really looking forward to a new year with Team Hitec Products – Birk Sport and I am very happy to get the opportunity. We have grown a lot as a team this year and I think we can be even stronger in 2020! I hope to take some good steps myself, be able to help the team to take more victories and also take some wins myself!”
Vita Heine (Norwegian time trial champion, 34 years old)
“I feel much at home in Team Hitec Products – Birk Sport and especially this year the team spirit has been very high. We have fun traveling and racing together, which results in better performances. Next year is also an Olympic year and my goal is to participate in Tokyo. It is therefore important for me to have proper preparations and at Hitec Products – Birk Sport the team will help me with a good race plan.”

“I’m very happy to sign for another year. This year we had a lot of good races and we raced well as a team! I am looking forward to keep continuing on making results for the team and hopefully also some good results for myself.”
