Mitchelton-SCOTT stars line up for SCOTT Week

Wed 17 Jun 2020

Stars from the Mitchelton-SCOTT men’s and women’s teams will join fans and a host of professional mountain bike riders and triathletes for SCOTT Week, which kicks off this Sunday.

The cross-disciplined event will see riders such as world champion, Annemiek van Vleuten and Vuelta a Espana winner Simon Yates join the likes of triathlon brothers Alistair and Johnny Brownlee, plus mountain bike legend Nino Schurter and former world champion Kate Courtney for a number of rides on Zwift.

Fans will get the chance to rub virtual shoulders with their favourite SCOTT sponsored athletes across a week of events, starting with a ‘Celebration Group Ride’ on Sunday 21st June. They will also get the opportunity to ride three stages over seven days, one for each discipline in a series of group rides finishing on the 27th June.

As well as the group rides, those looking for more of a challenge can sign up for the various pro-workout sessions that are tailored for road, mountain biking and triathlon.

Everyone taking part in SCOTT Week will have the chance of winning a SCOTT Addict RC Pro, all you have to do is participate in one of the events and upload your ride data. For full details on the competition, click here.

Fear not; if you don’t have access to Zwift, the Global Cycling Network will cover three unique cross-discipline race events during the week.

Simon and Adam Yates will take on the Brownlee brothers in a race up the Epic KOM course, whilst, Amanda SprattJess AllenDaryl Impey and Esteban Chaves will team up with riders from different disciplines in a mixed team race.

Van Vlueten will also be in action as she joins 2018 mountain bike world champion Courtney, to tackle various challenges both on and off-road for the Global Mountain Bike Network.
