Nienke Veenhoven is a Dutch professional cyclist who rides for Visma | Lease a Bike. A powerful sprinter who is also comfortable on short climbs, she has developed into one of the leading young fast finishers in the women’s peloton, combining bunch-sprint speed with the ability to survive more selective races.

Career overview
Veenhoven won Gent-Wevelgem Juniors in 2022 before stepping directly into the Women’s WorldTour with Visma in 2023. After gaining experience during her first two professional seasons, she made a major breakthrough in 2025 by winning the Tour de Gatineau and taking a stage of the Baloise Ladies Tour, while also finishing fifth at the Copenhagen Sprint. Her progress accelerated in 2026. Veenhoven won the opening stage of the Volta Ciclista a Catalunya Femenina, finished second at Scheldeprijs and third at the Copenhagen Sprint, then dominated the sprints at the Baloise Ladies Tour with three stage victories, the points classification and second overall. Those performances established her as one of the most promising sprinters of her generation. She is contracted to Visma | Lease a Bike through 2028.
