Rotem Gafinovitz is an Israeli cyclist and multiple national champion who has competed across road, mountain bike and gravel racing. Particularly strong against the clock, she spent several seasons at Women’s WorldTour level and has remained active outside the professional team structure after leaving Hess Cycling Team.

Career overview

Gafinovitz has been one of Israel’s leading road riders since the early 2010s, winning the national road race championship in 2015 and 2024 and six national time-trial titles between 2018 and 2025. She spent four consecutive seasons at Women’s WorldTour level with WM3 Energie, WaowDeals and Canyon SRAM, finishing sixth overall at Gracia-Orlová in 2019 and winning the Tour of Arava that year. Gafinovitz later raced for Roland Cogeas Edelweiss Squad and Hess Cycling Team, completing both the Giro d’Italia Women and inaugural Tour de France Femmes in 2022. After leaving Hess at the end of 2024, she continued competing independently, retaining the Israeli time-trial title in 2025 and also racing gravel internationally.
