Ruth Edwards
Ruth Edwards is an American professional cyclist who rides for Human Powered Health. Formerly known as Ruth Winder, she is a versatile stage racer and Classics rider who has won the Tour Down Under, Brabantse Pijl and the United States road race championship during a career that included a successful return to the professional peloton after two seasons away.

Career overview
Edwards, who raced as Ruth Winder earlier in her career, won the United States road race championship in 2019 before taking a stage and the overall title at the 2020 Tour Down Under. She added Brabantse Pijl in 2021, narrowly beating Demi Vollering, before retiring from professional road racing at the end of that season. Edwards returned with Human Powered Health in 2024 and immediately rediscovered top-level form, winning the Thüringen Ladies Tour overall and finishing second twice at the Giro d’Italia Women. Her comeback continued in 2025 with victory in the Pan American Championship time-trial and third place on a stage of the Tour de France Femmes. She remains part of Human Powered Health for 2026.
