Wilma Aintila
Wilma Aintila is a Finnish professional cyclist who races for Canyon SRAM. A versatile young rider with particular strength in time-trials and flatter one-day races, she stepped up to the Women’s WorldTour after two seasons with Lotto Dstny Ladies. Aintila became Finnish elite time-trial champion in 2024 and has also collected national road race podiums while gaining experience in the Tour de France Femmes, La Vuelta Femenina and major European stage races.

Career overview
Aintila raced with Team Rytger Development as a junior before joining Lotto Dstny Ladies for 2023. She finished sixth in the under-23 time-trial at the European Championships that season and enjoyed a breakthrough campaign in 2024, becoming Finnish elite time-trial champion, finishing second in the national road race and taking second on the time-trial stage of the Tour de Pologne Women. She also made her Tour de France Femmes debut. Aintila joined Canyon SRAM in 2025 and continued with the team in 2026, completing La Vuelta Femenina and finishing second in the Finnish time-trial championship and third in the road race. Her programme also included the Tour Down Under, Tour de Suisse Women and Tour of Britain Women.
