Maaike Coljé

Maaike Coljé is a Dutch cyclist who races for the Q36.5 Women’s Off-Road Racing Expedition, having shifted her main focus from professional road racing to gravel for 2026. A strong endurance rider, she spent five seasons at UCI level on the road and developed into a capable stage racer, with third overall at the 2023 Vuelta Extremadura Féminas among her best results. Coljé also completed the Tour de France Femmes twice and raced La Vuelta Femenina before moving into off-road competition.

Career overview

Coljé came to cycling relatively late after previously concentrating on speed skating and her studies. She stepped up to UCI level with Massi-Tactic Women Team in 2021 and finished 11th overall at the 2022 Tour Féminin International des Pyrénées. After joining Arkéa, she produced her best road season in 2023, finishing third overall at the Vuelta Extremadura Féminas and 17th at the Tour de l’Ardèche while making her Tour de France Femmes debut. She returned to the Tour in 2024 and rode La Vuelta Femenina in 2025. Coljé left the professional road peloton after that season and joined Q36.5’s new women’s off-road programme for 2026, focusing primarily on gravel racing.
