Tudor Pro Cycling have confirmed the signings of Kaden Groves and Nico Denz for 2027, adding a proven Grand Tour sprinter and one of the peloton’s most versatile support riders to their increasingly ambitious roster.
Groves will leave Alpecin-Premier Tech after four seasons and has signed with Tudor through 2029. The 27-year-old Australian gives the Swiss team another established winner for Grand Tour stages and difficult sprints, while Denz arrives from Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe after four years with the German WorldTour squad.
The pair strengthen Tudor in very different areas. Groves can be given outright leadership on sprint stages, while Denz has built much of his reputation working for Grand Tour contenders but has also won three Giro d’Italia stages when given freedom.

Groves has won stages at all three Grand Tours, completing the set with an unusual solo victory at the 2025 Tour de France.
Rather than winning from a bunch sprint, he attacked from a strong breakaway with 17km remaining on stage 20 and rode alone to Pontarlier. ProCyclingUK’s report from Groves’ Tour de France stage victory showed the wider range that has always separated him from many pure sprinters.
His best Grand Tour record has come at the Vuelta a España, where he has won seven stages and previously taken the points classification.
The 2026 season has been considerably more difficult. A knee problem disrupted his spring before he returned for the Giro d’Italia, only to abandon after crashing. His Vuelta then ended on stage 9 after another difficult opening week.

The move to Tudor gives him a fresh start after a season in which he has struggled to reproduce his usual level.

Denz brings a different profile.
The 32-year-old German has spent the past four seasons with Bora-Hansgrohe and Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe, becoming a dependable part of their Grand Tour squads.
He has also repeatedly shown what he can do when released from support duties.
Denz won twice at the 2023 Giro d’Italia before adding a third career Giro stage victory in 2025. On stage 18 to Cesano Maderno, he attacked his breakaway companions with 19km remaining and held them off alone.

His value to Tudor should extend beyond chasing individual stages. Denz can work on flat roads, survive difficult terrain and support leaders deep into Grand Tour stages, giving the team another experienced rider as its ambitions continue to grow.
Tudor continue strengthening for 2027
The two signings arrive as Tudor continue to build a roster capable of competing with WorldTour teams across a full calendar.
The team have already secured important existing riders for the longer term, including Marius Mayrhofer and Florian Stork, who recently extended their Tudor contracts through 2029.
Groves now provides a proven sprint leader who can also survive harder races, while Denz adds the sort of experienced depth required around stage-race leaders.

For Groves, the move offers a chance to re-establish himself after a disrupted 2026 and take on a prominent role in Tudor’s sprint programme. Denz arrives with a less specialised brief, but his record suggests Tudor are gaining more than a domestique.
Together, they add another layer to a team that is continuing to move beyond simply earning invitations to the biggest races and towards expecting to shape them.
