Career overview

Carbonari was born in Italy but raced under a Latvian licence from 2022, quickly becoming the country’s leading women’s road rider. She won the Latvian national road race title in 2022, 2023 and 2024, and also finished 3rd in the Latvian national time-trial championship in 2022. Her strongest international results included 2nd at the 2023 Umag Trophy, 9th overall at the 2020 Dubai Women’s Tour and a team time-trial stage win at the 2023 Trofeo Ponente in Rosa with UAE Development Team. Carbonari stepped up to UAE Team ADQ for 2024, represented Latvia at the Paris Olympic Games and was active professionally through to 2025.
