The last riders to break that streak were Regina Schleicher and Diana Ziliute, each winning the race twice, highlighting just how rare a non-Italian victory has become.
The 2024 edition saw a dominant UAE Team ADQ performance, locking out the podium and 4th place with Chiara Consonni taking the sprint ahead of Silvia Persico, Eleonora Gasparrini and Federica Venturelli. Silvia Zanardi, the 2023 winner while still racing for BePink, followed a similar trajectory, using her success in Rome as a springboard for further results.
