Career overview
Swinkels entered the professional peloton with Parkhotel Valkenburg in 2019 before joining Team Coop-Hitec Products for 2022. She finished 23rd at Classic Brugge-De Panne that season and took tenth at Clásica de Almería in 2023. A move to Roland followed in 2024, when she enjoyed one of her strongest campaigns with third at Grand Prix El Salvador, eighth overall at the Tour El Salvador and a third-place stage finish. Swinkels continued to produce consistent one-day results in 2025, taking seventh at Grand Prix Surf City, eighth at the Pointe du Raz Ladies Classic and tenth at Gran Premio della Liberazione Donne. She has also gained Grand Tour experience through appearances at the Tour de France Femmes.
