Liane Lippert
Liane Lippert is a German professional cyclist who races for Movistar Team. A powerful puncheur and climber, she is particularly effective in hilly Classics and selective stage races where repeated short climbs can shape the result. Lippert is a multiple German road race champion and has won stages at both the Tour de France Femmes and Giro d’Italia Women, while also producing repeated top-five finishes at World Championships and major Ardennes Classics.

Career overview
Lippert emerged as one of Germany’s leading young riders after winning the European junior road race title in 2016. She turned professional the following season and claimed her first Women’s WorldTour victory at the 2020 Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race. After six seasons with the Sunweb-DSM organisation, Lippert joined Movistar Team in 2023 and immediately won the German road title, a stage of the Tour de France Femmes and Tre Valli Varesine. She added Giro d’Italia Women stage victories in 2024 and 2025 while finishing fourth in the World Championship road race in both 2022 and 2024. Lippert remained a key Movistar leader in 2026, finishing second in the German road championship and extending her contract with the team through 2028.
