Career overview

Bauernfeind won the German under-23 road race and time-trial titles in 2022 before stepping up from Canyon SRAM Generation to the WorldTeam in 2023. Her breakthrough came at the Tour de France Femmes, where she won stage five in Albi after a long solo attack and finished ninth overall. A serious knee problem severely disrupted her 2024 season and required surgery, keeping her away from racing for almost a year.
