22 Teams from 13 Countries to Compete in the Inaugural Garden Hotels-Luxcom Challenge Ciclista Mallorca Femenina

The first edition of the Garden Hotels-Luxcom Challenge Ciclista Mallorca Femenina will showcase a diverse and global peloton, featuring 22 teams from 13 different countries. This includes the Canadian Team Primeau Vélo Groupe Abadie, Panama’s Soltec Team, and the UAE Team ADQ from the United Arab Emirates. Among the final lineup are six UCI Women’s WorldTour teams: Movistar Team (Spain), Roland (Switzerland), Ceratizit-WNT (Germany), UAE Team ADQ (UAE), AG Insurance – Soudal Team (Belgium), and Uno X-Mobility (Norway).

The remaining teams in the peloton of this inaugural Challenge Ciclista Mallorca Femenina belong to the UCI Continental team category. These include Laboral Kutxa-Fundación Euskadi (Spain), Team Primeau Vélo Groupe Abadie (Canada), EF Education Cannondale (USA), Arkea B&B Hotels (France), Aromitalia Basso Vaiano (Italy), Maxx-Solar Rose Women Racing (Germany), Hess Cycling Team Women (Great Britain), Winspace Charente Maritime (France), ASD K2 Women Team (Italy), Proximus Cyclis (Belgium), Team Komugi Grand-Est (France), Top Girls Fassa Bortolo (Italy), Team Dukla Praha (Czech Republic), Eneicat-CMTeam-Seguros Deportivos (Spain), and Soltec Team (Panama). The Spanish National Road Cycling Team will also join the competition.

The Mallorcan cyclist Mavi García, a prominent figure in women’s cycling, will be participating in this first edition of the Garden Hotels-Luxcom Challenge Mallorca Femenina. García, a five-time Spanish road champion and third in the 2022 Giro d’Italia, has recently switched teams, signing with the Australian team Liv AlUla Jayco for the new season. However, in the roads of Mallorca, she will be competing under the banner of the Spanish National Team. At 40 years old, Mavi is one of the most decorated athletes in Balearic sports and is currently the top female cyclist in Spain.
