Thalita De Jong

Thalita de Jong is a Dutch professional cyclist who races for Human Powered Health. A versatile all-rounder with a strong background in cyclocross, she has enjoyed success across one-day races, mountainous stage races and Grand Tours. De Jong became cyclocross world and European champion in 2016 and later rebuilt her road career, winning the Tour Cycliste Féminin International de l’Ardèche overall in 2024 before returning to the Women’s WorldTour.

Career overview

De Jong began her professional career with Rabobank in 2012 and won stages of the Boels Rental Ladies Tour and Giro d’Italia Women before becoming cyclocross world, European and Dutch champion in 2016. Injuries disrupted the following seasons, but she gradually rebuilt her road career and returned to WorldTour level with Liv Racing. Her 2024 campaign with Lotto Dstny Ladies marked a major resurgence, with two stage wins and overall victory at the Tour de l’Ardèche and tenth overall at the Tour de France Femmes. De Jong joined Human Powered Health in 2025 and immediately won Trofeo Binissalem-Andratx. In 2026 she finished 13th overall at the Tour de France Femmes and 17th at the Tour de Suisse Women.
