Alé BTC Ljubljana in the Ardennes for Flèche Wallonne and Liège-Bastogne-Liège

Alé BTC Ljubljana team, which was archived for the week of the World Championship, arrived in Belgium for the Ardennes Classics. Tomorrow, Wednesday 30th September, the Flèche Wallonne Féminine is scheduled. Sunday, 4th October, the Liège-Bastogne-Liège Femmes.

Sports director Fortunato Lacquaniti commented: “The Ardennes Classics are demanding races and the leader of our team will be Mavi Garcia. Let’s see what condition she came out of the World Championship, where she did well going on the attack and proving once again that she is in good condition. For these two races also the Russian Chursina is back with us and is in good condition especially for Liège. In this race also Marta Bastianelli will come back in the group to start to recover some rhythm. This year we have these classics all close together and we race them in an anomalous period like the month of October when, usually, the season was already practically over. The girls are well, they are motivated and we will try to do well. These Ardennes are races that we’ll need above all to prepare the Flanders campaign”.
